Once the switch is turned on, the device starts to heat up. When the desired temperature is reached, the light goes off, indicating that the chocolate is ready to be used.

To ensure an optimal temperature and protect the chocolate from overheating, this chocolate maker also has a secondary thermostat located below the device.
